I need to connect to BaseX via a java program . Could some one guide me to the java (client and Example ) code. The site contains bindings for C# , php etc . I am a newbie but have worked on Tcp/Ip Using java. Any help would be appreciated .

there is a brand-new java version on
https://svn.uni-konstanz.de/dbis/basex/trunk/api/etc/java/.
Look in the classes for more information.
