Dear Loyde, thanks for your Bug Report. May I ask you to send us your file (maybe zipped) so we can have a look at your issue? Makes debugging a lot easier usually. :-) Please send it "off list", to support at basex.org, and I (and the other developers) will have a look at it. We will keep your file confidential. You could also try out our latest Snapshot [1] to see if the problem persists. You may start the jar by simply double-clicking and the GUI will open. Sorry for the inconveniences and kind regards Michael [1] http://files.basex.org/releases/latest/basex-6.6.3-SNAPSHOT.jar

Dear BaseX, Don't know if this is important. I'm new to BaseX, but I thought I should relay the entry I received when attempting to download info into BaseX. The six previsous files seem to load okay. I still have to learn more to make that determination. Thanks for making the software available! Loyde Yates Error: Possible bug? Dear Loyde, thanks for providing us with the discussed files. I didn't manage to reproduce your error, but I'd recommend to use the "create database" functionality to parse larger XML documents, and import all (zipped) xml files in a single run. I just built a database for all the 7-8 GB patent files referenced on your page: You can simply choose the directory with all the zip files via the Database->New dialog. If that doesn't work out for you, you might try to increase the Java heap space (via the -Xmx flag). Feel free to ask if that doesn't help.. Hope this helps, Christian
