No namespace for multiple commands in POST?

I'm trying to REST POST a sequence of commands in accordance with
http://docs.basex.org/wiki/Commands#XML_Syntax
I get the error response:
*cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'commands'.*
Is there a namespace for <commands> wrapper element? I'd expect it to be
http://basex.org/rest
but the same message is returned on the qualified name:
*cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'basex:commands'.*
Using Basex 8.5.3

Hi Arjan,
I agree it would be nice to have support for multiple commands in REST. As such an extension has been asked for more than once, I have now added a new GitHub issue for your request [1].
The REST API was defined some years before the introduction of XML command scripts; that’s the main reason why the syntax differs so much.
