Dear Alex, the basic Ubuntu/Debian installation of BaseX is restricted to the core library. To get the http services running, you need to use our ZIP distributions: http://basex.org/products/download/all-downloads/ http://files.basex.org/releases/latest/ Hope this helps, Christian

Hi, When running the basexhttp script on ubuntu I get the following error Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/basex/BaseXHTTP I don't have a problem running the BaseX73.jar in gui mode. I've put the script and the basex Jar within the same folder. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
