Database opened by another process while using REST interface

Hi All,
I am getting "[BASX0020] Database 'db' is opened by another process." whenever I am trying to PUT / Store new record in to the database using the REST. I havn't kept the database open from anyother client. May I know what is the issue here?

Hi,
please provide your DB version and an example how you make the call.
The latest snapshot has several improvements concerning locking.

Hi Max,
I am using BaseX 7.2. with a simple database(3 collections with 1 xml file on each) that was loaded in to the BaseX through a BaseXGUI.
* The BaseXHttp was started with default options i.e. with out deactivating or activating any functionality.
* I created a new 'database user' with 'admin' privileges and assigned that user to my sample database.
* I am testing with Firefox Poster plugin to PUT a new XML file inside the database at particular collection.
Please go through the attached images for the screen shots.

Dear Seenivasan,
as Max has already indicated (thanks!), the locking concept of BaseX 7.2 has been revised. Please give us some feedback if the problems persist with the latest stable snapshot:

Dear Christian,
(Y) Yep! The issue is solved in this version of BaseX.
But I have some more feedbacks,
Suppose, you want to add more xml documents to your existing database using BaseXGUI. As far as I know, the only way to do so is by "Add Resources". But for that, you need to keep the database open in BaseXGUI and while trying to add a resource(s), the same locking issue "Database opened by another client." appears.

Exactly; if you need to add documents to a database, you need to choose one of the available interfaces (client/server, standalone, or GUI), as all of them work in different JVMs. Our documentation gives you some more details [1].
