Installation problème in Windows 10

Hi everybody,
I'm trying to install BaseX90 on my machine (with Windows 10) and it's tell me that I have to install Java before ! I have already installed Java 9, and configure JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME and the message continue to show up !!!

Does the message also occur when using Java 8? Could you tell us the exact error string?

Hi Christian,
It do not mention anything about the version of Java !
But when I install Java 8 et reconfigure JAVA_HOME and JRE_HOME the message disappear and it works

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll try to find out why Java 9 is currently not accepted (the launch4j configuration we use [1] does has no restriction for a maximum version).

I use BaseX for academic purposes, it is a very good tool that is always updated, and especially with the latest additions of XQuery 3.1 (Maps and Arrays)
