Hello
Will BaseX still be distributed via homebrew? I installed 7.6 that way but the latest release has not popped up yet.

Hi Johan,
I just bumped the BaseX package to 7.7 and sent a [pull-request]. I cannot give any timeline on it being merged though.
I put some effort on having BaseX "latest" release in there, but they want it build from git, which would require much effort in modifying the perl build scripts (or getting rid of them).

Hi Johan,
I think homebrew is nothing we officially support (although I really don't have any clue as I don't use Mac OS), but adapting to BaseX 7.7 seems to be really just a couple of lines:
