Is there a ready way to perform search term highlighting in a fulltext query result? I found a reference to a 'ft:highlight' function at
http://www.xmlmind.com/qizx/_distrib/docs/manual/fulltext_extensions.htmlbut this does not apparently exist in BaseX or as a standard function.

Phil,
thanks for your hint to the Qizx function. Currently, token positions are processed and visualized in the frontend of BaseX, which means that the existing information could as well be processed within XQuery. I'm not sure yet, however, what's the most elegant way to do it. I've increased the priority for this on our desired-features list (which seems to continuously grow instead of shrink…).

Written for BaseX 6. BaseX may have changed since: please check the current documentation.
