In order to enable traditional process locking, the option <code>[[Options#GLOBALLOCKINGGLOBALLOCK|GLOBALLOCKINGGLOBALLOCK]]</code> can be set to {{Code|true}}. This can e.g. be done by editing your {{Code|.basex}} file (see [[Options]] for more details).
