This module contains [[Querying#Functions|XQuery Functions]] to perform file system related operations, such as listing, reading, or writing files. All functions are preceded by the <code>file:</code> prefix, which is linked to the <code>http://www.basex.org/file</code> namespace. This module might be aligned with the [http://expath.org/spec/file EXPath File Module] draft.
