Hi, I'm using the GUI to generate html documents. The xquery includes a <script src="my_script.js"></script> tag which Basex simplifies to <script src="my_script.js"/> which causes problems in the browser. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

Philip san,
If you want to serialize results as HTML, you can introduce your query with an output option declaration [1]:
declare option output:method 'html';
<script src="my_script.js"></script>Hope this helps, Christian
